College Military Scholarships

If you earn college scholarships, but decide to join the military for a few years (see details)?

If you decide to join the military you will now be eligible for the GI bill which pays for all your schooling.

Deborah Said:

Question about military scholarships in college...?

We Answered:

I assume you mean an ROTC scholarship. there are 2, 3 and 4 year scholarships available. if you do not get the 4 year one by particpating in ROTC anyway you can apply for the other 2( the first 2 years of ROTC you can do without receiving any money or incurring a commitment).

Failing that, there is BDCP which pays you as either an E3 or an E5( I keep hearing different things) for the last 2 years of college followed by you attending OCS.

or enlist, do your 4-6 years AD, get out, use the GI Bill then apply for a commission then.

or enlist, apply to STA-21 after about 3-4 years and go through ROTC/college that way.
