Would behing an eagle scout, give me an advantage in getting an NROTC scholarship.?

We Answered:

Yes, I'd say mine helped me in getting both an AFROTC and an NROTC scholarship.

Physically demanding? Not very. Workout probably 2-3 times a week is the standard for while you're in college. I'm not sure how the navy handles Cadet (Future officer) training, but THAT will be where the challenge and the drill sergeants (and yelling officers) comes in. Then again, that will only make up a very small portion of your college experience.

Your instructors will be tough, but nothing like drill sergeants. They're not training you to march rank and file, they're training you to be a critical problem solver, to know and appropriately implement regs and orders, to watching for your personal motivation/discipline. If you're an eagle scout and reasonably in shape, you'll do just fine. Best wishes and hope to see you out there.
