Renee Said:

Are there any public colleges in the Chicago 60610 area for early childhood education majors?

We Answered:

It is too late for fall admissions for most schools. The public universities in Chicago are University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) (near west side), Northeastern Illinois University (North Park), Governors State U (University Park, IL), and Chicago State U (Bronzeville). My guess is that UIC is the closest school to you, but they only offer regular elementary education. It is also expensive for out of staters. If you live in Illinois for a year prior to starting, you'll become an in-stater. It is the school with the best reputation. NEIU has a large education department. With them, it only takes 6 months to become an in-stater. CSU and GSU are regularly thought of the worst public university in the state. All of these schools offer bachelors.
If you want an associates, you'll have to go to a Community College. There are many in Chicago.

Stephanie Said:

I am looking to move to Utah and transfer to a college out there. I have just about zero money and my parents?

We Answered:

USU has a very good childhood education program, plus we are cheaper than the other schools. Fill out a FAFSA and apply for scholarships. try www. fastweb.com for scholarships.
