If you're going to be working with a footy agent, and they know anything at all, I know one who is brilliant....they would know what a scholarship covers. If it was a full ride scholarship it would cover school, room and board. As an International student you wouldn't be able to work in the US. Your agent would be able to negotiate spending money for you too.

I should think a school who'd give a footy scholarship would cover travel expenses as well. That's if you're a top notch player and they really wanted you.

Put together a highlight video of yourself, and your school transcripts, and send them to 10 or 15 schools in which you have an interest. Spend some time looking at admission test score numbers before you choose which schools to consider. Have your school coach write a letter of recommendation for you.

I would contact a coach from a college in the states, let him know that you want to play. Many foreign footballers play in the states this way. And many of them are on scholarships.

But why would you want to play football in the US? Its rubbish here. Stick to england, join an academy
