Full Ride Scholarships

Derek Said:

Are there any full ride scholarships for the state of Massachusetts?

We Answered:

All states have programs that are funded through state tax dollars, but unfortunately for YOU, you must be a state resident to qualify.
Going to school in Boston is going to cost you a fortune, esp since you are a resident of FL. Go to school in florida, you won't regret it when it comes time to make student loan payments.

What colleges/universities have dancing majors that give full-ride scholarships for male Dancers?

We Answered:

Any college with a decent dance program will give you at least a partial scholarship - IF YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH...a big if for sure. IDK of any university that will give you a total full ride..the most you will get is a waiver of tuition. Books and living expenses are on you.

Ernest Said:

Where can I find a list of all available 2006 full- ride scholarships?

We Answered:

There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill.

Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/lion's club etc. Go to the library and ask the reference librarian for a reference book on scholarships. They usually have more than one. There are all kinds of scholarships out there, you just have to start applying yourself and make it your summer career to send out letters everyday for scholarships. Good luck!

Does either NYU or USC offer full-ride scholarships based on grades?

We Answered:

I know USC gives full-ride scholarships, but not just based on straight As - you're gonna need high test scores and extracurriculars as well. You need to look awesome and smart.

Does Carnegie Mellon offer full ride scholarships?

We Answered:

Have you actually looked at the financial aid website? That is the first place to start. More and more schools are loosing their funding for scholarships, but some still have it. They only offer one or two, all of the information will be posted on the scholarship description page. At Carnegie Mellon you would probably have to have about perfect grades, good test scored, you will need references and will probably have to write an essay.
