I personally haven't studied in New Zealand. But I had friends who have studied there. Before Graduating from High School I had looked at many Universities I may have wanted to attend. New Zealand was one of them, Unfortunately for me they required no less than a 4.0GPA which I did not have!
From what I gathered it is a beautiful country with High Standards of Education. I believe their University is somewhat harder than what you would find in other parts of the world...Closer to the British System.
Other than that I can't tell you much else. I did do some searches and came up with these sites....the first has blogs and articles about New Zealand life and University....

Yes NZ is a great place to live.
Advantages - nice people, no snakes, clean-green country, two islands to chose from to live and work, doesn't take long to get A to B....

Best Business - well it really depends what you are looking at or what you are qualified in.
