Calvin Said:

Physical Therapy student searching for facilities that will give aid while in school if i agree 2 work 4 them?

We Answered:

Most PT schools have a board with that info on it. Usually they will only pay once you start in the program generally the last year.

Kathy Said:

What scholarships should i apply for?

We Answered:

there are tonnes of scholarships out there for average people, if you know someone who is a Lablaws or a wendy's employee, there are lots of such organizations that give scholarships to relatives of their employees. try all websites for banks and major organizations you can think of as well.

Carrie Said:

Best approach into going into physical therapy?

We Answered:

With a 3/75, you will have no problem getting into PT school anywhere Do not worry about the rank. Beside, there are only 200 PT schools in the country so a 800 is strange. I would go to a state school. 20,00 is a lot of money.

Jared Said:

What's the average debt for a Doctorate of Physical Therapy?

We Answered:

A doctor of physical therapy is a professional degree not a Ph.D which usually gets funding from their school. Also, you will probably have some debt from your first four years of school as an undergrad and professional school is three years for PT and very expensive with very little in the form of grants/scholarships available depending on the school of course. Most of your funding for PT school will come in the form of government loans. Don't worry though even if you do end up with a huge amount of loans you probably will be making more than $50k. I've seen PT's in my area (Indiana) starting out around $80k with experienced ones/managers making six figures.
