Well, you can do a piece with a Title Page on "Religious and Women's Rights in Saudi Arabia" and attach a number of blank pieces of paper...can get points for creativity at least.

Edit: There's a moderate faction in most Middle Eastern countries, but they vary greatly in terms of letting the moderates speak their mind, and there are Sharia laws that generally prohibit religious freedom and sexual equality...without the laws and enforcement, there would be swifter reforms including civil rights in these countries. Iran, for example, has a very young populace, that watches American television, including Jon Stewart. But the silent majority is not yet permitted to express themselves due to laws and propaganda.

You've already used the best online source. Keep in mind that the VAST majority of scholarships that are awarded each year are controlled by the colleges themselves. Your best bets are the schools you've applied to (or the school you're already at, if you're a current college student). Also, a big chunk of the rest of the money that's available comes from "local" sources - alumni associations, American Legion posts, local businesses, etc. Essay contest prizes are a tiny fraction of a small fraction of the money available and you should not spend too much time on them.
