That's incorrect. They will ask for your transcript from your school, which will come in a sealed envelope from the school with all your grades. Many colleges ask you what your grades are, and you could, in theory, choose what grades you put down on that form. But the colleges and scholarships will get a copy of the transcript, as well. And if your self-reported grades are different than your official transcript grades, you will not be accepted.
