Marie Said:

Where can I find Graduate school Scholarships for being Mexican/Chicano/Latino?

We Answered:

Try the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. They usually have good scholarships or links that can help you find funds for school. Ask in Graduate Studies Program from your university they usually have a list of scholarships/fellowships and their requirements. Look in fastweb.com for a list of scholarships that are national and sometimes regional. I would recommend to look for fellowships that will give you money to travel or do research at another university.

Agnes Said:

What kind of scholarships am i eligible for, i am mexican-american 21 year old student attending Itt Tech?

We Answered:

As long as you are a full time student, you will probably get The Higher Education Award, Pell Grant, and federal grants. These you do not have to pay back. The more credit hours you have, the more money you will get. It does, however, max out at 15 credit hours. You can also be put on academic probation, not eligable the following semester, if the grades are not there. Most "smaller" colleges are also taking attendance now because of FAFSA. in my school you cannot mor than 5 days the whole semester or finacial aid could get taken away.
FAFSA is usually due in March, so apply soon to get it out of the way. Take full advantage of FAFSA and government grants, that is what they are there for. They are a god-send!!
