How can a 45 yr old woman get scholarships for college? We Answered:
Depending on your income level, you can apply for the pell grant and possibly go to school for free. Other than that I don't know of anything else. It seems most other scholarships are for young people just out of high school. Some work places offer tuition assistance so you might check into your current employer.PS: Don't pay any attention to those first two posters you have. Obviously they are young and have no idea when entails being an older, non traditional student. I am 43 now and went back to college back in 2001 and got a degree. How good your grades are doesn't matter if you graduated from high school back in the 70's.

Are there scholarships for women over 50?We Answered:
I guess, you just have to find one.But people get scholarships for having great GPA's or great admission test scores (ACT/SAT) and having very challenging majors. you aren't likely going to find one for an ART major. You are narrowing your scholarship search too much... better be more broad and actually find something you can apply for.
Not sure what bills and old tuition fees has to do with a scholarship, but whatever. Scholarship money normally goes directly to the school, not to your debtors.

Are there scholarships out there for older women? We Answered:
Hello how are you? Yes there are absolutely scholarships available for you. What I suggest you do is use a scholarship search. A scholarship search allows you to create a profile and receive information for all the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for based on your profile description. Scholarshipsupport.com actually has 2 free scholarship searches available right now. I hope this helps. Good Luck!Penny Said:
Do you know of any scholarships for...?We Answered:
www.fastweb.comis most trusted by college students and schools.
Make youself a profile and it'll automatically send you scholarships based on your info. It's easy and it should not be a problem regardless of age. you'll just need to do the work (essays etc).
