SO TRUE! My parents and I have looked everywhere for scholarships, on fastweb and all other kinds of websites but it seems the majority of people getting scholarships are minorities. Or people under ridiculous circumstances. Ex: You are eligible for this scholarship if your grandfather has liver cancer or you have been raised by a black father and an asian mother with tuberculosis. I don't get it... I know these people have been under a lot of hardships, etc. but it only consists of a few people, not the other thousands of white students who really really need the money. Like ME!

It's retarded. I'll be going to college in the fall, and including the Dean's Presidential Scholarship I was awarded (the only scholarship I got out of about a hundred I applied for), I'm still going to have to pay about 80k+ for college. Stupid stupid stupid.
