Scholarships In Kenya

Amber Said:

list for me the companies who offer scholarship to student in kenya universities?

We Answered:

For international student financial aid resources:

http://www.InternationalStudent.com
http://www.InternationalScholarships.com
http://www.InternationalStudentLoan.com

Bear in mind for the last resource, you'll need a cosigner who is a citizen of the country in which the loan company resides. If you're studying in the UK, a UK subject; in the US, a US citizen or permanent resident.

Hope this helps!

Roland Said:

Does anyone know where I can get 100% scholarship to study for my degree in kenya or abroad?

We Answered:

Sharp student:
(ii) Try some of the private universities (eg daystar university) and ask about work study programs, and once admitted, ask HELB for assiatnce
(i) For study outside of Kenya: Try the mwalimu site below for more information on how to go about it, scholarship info, etc.

NB: sometimes you do not need to have a degree to be successful

Paul Said:

I need to apply for medical scholarship. Anyone who would not mind to share past experience and offer advice?

We Answered:

If you wish to study medicine in Canada....you need two things....a letter from a university indicating you have been accepted as a student....and a sponsor. There are a few other things you need as well.... but these are the most important. Here at the University of Toronto there are a number of African students in medicine....some are supported by scholarships/grants/loans/ bursaries which are available ONLY to foreign students....as well as ONLY students from Africa...as well as ONLY students in medicine.

Maybe you could try getting a loan?

Naomi Said:

i am from kenya and i wanted a scholarship for my MBA?

We Answered:

There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill.

Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/ lion's club etc. Left-handed? There is a scholarship out there for you! Older woman returning to school? There are scholarships out there for you. Do combined searches on more than one criteria "hispanic women aviation scholarships" etc.

Go to the library and ask the reference librarian for a reference book on scholarships. They usually have more than one. There are all kinds of scholarships out there, you just have to start applying yourself and make it your summer career to send out letters everyday for scholarships. Good luck!
