Tim Said:

HI. i am from South Africa and i want to apply to a college or university in America. where sould i apply?

We Answered:

You are very right, there are a lot of choices. First and foremost, how much money are you looking to spend on tuition? College tuition can cost from $10,000 -$50,000 per year, and the average bachelor's degree takes four years to complete. Private colleges are on the pricier end. So consider your budget. Remember, tuition only includes instruction time. You will still need money for housing and living expenses, transportation, books, etc.

Second, what kind of climate do you want to live in? In the US, climate ranges from harsh, bitter winters with weeks below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, to winters that you can still go to the beach in. So how hot or cold do you want it to be?

And then location. Do you want to live in a big bustling city with excellent public transportation? Or do you want to live nearby a beach?

All schools provide financial aid.

Happy searching!
