Does anyone know if an associates in biology is good for Audiology and speech pathology? We Answered:
To become an audiologist, you need to major in communicative disorders or speech-pathology as an undergraduate.Unfortunately there are no undergraduate bachelors programs for audiology, but the industry standard is to major in speech pathology, then go into a Masters of Audiology, and perhaps a PhD. Though audiology isn't offered directly, some schools have the speech program where you can get a degree in speech pathology with an emphasis in audiology. Go to the asha.org website to find these programs.
Good luck!
