the answer from the previous person seems dodgy but I am an international student in the UK probably going through the same ordeal but if your country is part of the commonwealth then you can try and apply for their loans but very few loans for thousands of applications. Depending on the course that you are doing you could also try private organisations, you will have to do a lot of research and try asking your tutors they could have leads. Or just find and employer that will let you work more than 20 hours a week (I am still searching, its kinda tricky)

Most UK universities will have some forms of scholarships for international students but they are usually competitive to get and are usually quite small in value. You will not get full coverage.

If you are American then you should look at the Fullbright website as they do offer excellent scholarships. Also, most UK universities do accept US Federal Loans.

You should remember that UK degrees are three years in length which will reduce your costs by 25% straight away.

there are no sports scholarships at UK universities, there are very few academic scholarships and you don't "major" at UK universities you "read" a subject, a BSc in the uk at a good university is equivalent to an MSc in the US

Scholarships are really hard to get in the UK. You can get an unconditional offer, which means you're given a place regardless of your A level grades, but they're extremely rare. Other than that, every university has different scholarships and different methods of application. You're better off asking your teacher.
