Yes they do. But every scholarship a white person gets, they must compete with people of every color.

those scholarships are not exclusively for White students. the requirement for, say, the Francis Eppes Scholarship have no race involved. Qualifying students can be white or black or whatever.

Just another example of a scholarship for Whites (and every other race)

and the Boston University one that was actually for white only is only $250 and was done as a sort of social experiment.

try going to school on $250

If scholarships are all about reparation for people being slaves, what about the masses of Irish that were abducted by the british and sent to the Barbados islands to be slaves in the cane fields.

Does that mean all people with Irish last names should get special treatment?

Minority scholarships are 'geared' towards minorities, but it is open to any one who would like to apply. Yes, priority is given towards minorities, but that's because most scholarships are generally issued to white America. It's a numbers game, so of course that would be the result.... hence the reason for minority scholarships. Not to mention the economic deficits of many minority students. They're offered to help make the academic playing field more equal.

But with that said, you can open up a whites-only scholarship. But keep in mind, whites-only is not the same as being geared towards whites.

This kind of hypocrisy is ironically what's got racial minorities in **** economic and social conditions. During the civil rights movement laws were passed forcing business owners to sell to African Americans, who had been buying locally from other African Americans. When they started buying from whites the black business owners lost their customers and their businesses collapsed. Now what you have is a situation where there is no wealth within the black communities.The government basically tried to dig blacks out of a hole.
