Get a visa to study in the U.S. and then try to enlist in the army when you do set foot in the U.S. legally.

USA university advice?

We Answered:

None of the schools in the US are cheap. However the very best such as Harvard have need based aid. This means if you don't earn much (usually under 60K) then they charge you zilch. However to get into such schools you need ot be a near perfect student.

Thanks
Bill

Which colleges would take me in USA. ( undergraduate)? See details?

We Answered:

Your scores and etc. actually make you a good candidate for the schools on your list. I think you stand a good shot at some of them. However, some, like Harvard, reject perfect applicants. They simply get *so many* perfect applicants! So it's good to have back up schools, just in case.

Are you thinking of engineering? If so, one very well respected, high quality engineering school that is a step below some of those on your list in terms of admissions competitiveness is Rensselaer Polytechnic. Very good school, just a notch below, say, Carnegie Mellon, so just slightly less competitive in terms of admissions. May be a good choice for a back up school. Likewise, Boston University. Good schools, great engineering programs, but just slightly less competitive.

Also, not on your list is Olin College of Engineering and the Cooper Union. Both are ridiculously competitive to get into, and very good engineering schools. And what's special about them is that, if you get in, tuition is FREE. So I suggest you at least consider them.

If engineering isn't your choice, then still, good back up schools could be Boston University, Tufts and Syracuse.

As for scholarships - that's more difficult. Some of these schools may offer you some funding, especially if you are a very good student. But there isn't a lot of funding for international students in the US. Many of them are funded from their home goverments. You may want to check into this.

You may also do well scholarship-wise if you, as such a good student, apply to an elite women's college like Wellesley, Smith or Mt. Holyoke. I wouldn't recommend these for engineering, but for other fields, they are excellent, and sometimes can offer financial help that isn't available elsewhere. Worth a look.

Dolores Said:

What are some good scholarship programs i can apply for in Canada, Australia and USA?

We Answered:

Australia does not offer scholarships for masters degrees AT ALL. Masters degrees are not commonly taken by Australian students, plus the Australian government allows all students to pay back their fees once they start working (if they never work they never have to pay it back) added to that most Australians live at home during study - there is no need for scholarships.

PhD scholarships are the only scholarships we have - and these are for Australian citizens and PR only (close in September for Jan 2010).

Do USA Conservatives like my business idea?

We Answered:

This reminds me of a homeowner's association. Are you planning on inspecting the sidewalks in front of everyone's homes, and sending out warning letters to those with grass in their cracks?
