Those 'jerks' at your school are enforcing the results of the placement exams because otherwise students try to take classes they aren't ready for and fail them. They could make a lot more money by letting you fail college level math classes over and over - they're trying to help you. I suggest finding out if they'll accept the CLEP exam for credit, and if you pass the CLEP algebra test, they'll probably let you take statistics.

I would look into finding SAT practice books. They would probably cover the majority of the things you will need to know for your tests. Also, try searching on google and I'm sure you can find all kinds of practice test and review websites on there. Good luck!

I thought the tests were pretty easy and i was out of school for 20 years. You dont want to study for them since they are designed to see what you know and what level classes you should be placed in.

ok thats not right,, it should be 29/35.. heres how.. you find the commom denominator. of 5 and 7 which is 35. so 2/5= 14/35, 3/7=15/35 so equal 29/35=0.828571429.
