Why are most LSAT Powerscore books sold out?We Answered:
Probably because they are the best. I think you can buy them straight from them, however:Logic Games Bible: http://shopping.powerscore.com/product_d…
Logical Reasoning Bible: http://shopping.powerscore.com/product_d…
It looks like both are in stock.

Junior in High School and studying for the LSAT, any advice? We Answered:
My only tips are for if you don't know the answer to a question. DO NOT leave it blank, or your WILL get it wrong! Take a stab at it, and here's how:Read the question well. Underline or circle key words or facts or numbers needed in your calculations; draw a line thru superfluous (look it up) information.
Rule out obviously wrong answers from the choices given. This narrows down your odds of getting a correct answer if you simply have to guess.
Sometimes the correct answer will "look" different from the other 3. Maybe it's the only one w/ a negative number as an answer; maybe it's the only one with a two-word answer. Just keep that in mind.
After doing all the above, if nothing comes to you, pick B.

Best LSAT books/study guides?We Answered:
As far as study and guide books, these were the three best prep books I used:1. Powerscore LSAT Logic Games Bible (http://www.powerscore.com )
2. Powerscore LSAT Logical Reasoning Bible
3. Kaplan LSAT 180 (http://www.kaplan.com )
You will also need actual tests to practice with, so get them from Law Services (the people who make the test and who are behind http://www.lsat.com ). These are the three cheapest ones, each is $30:
4. The Next 10 Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests
5. 10 More Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests
6. 10 Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests
If you work through the first three books, you would be in pretty good shape in terms of strategies, and then do a ton of the tests from the second group of books. Try to take at least one test a week if you can. The only real trick to studying is to put in a lot of hours and to take a lot of practice tests. Getting familiar with the test format and your own strengths and weaknesses will make you as comfortable as possible on test day.
As far as what to avoid, Arco was my least favorite LSAT prep book. It was really outdated.
If the self-study approach doesn't get you where you need to be, either take a prep course or get personal tutoring. The prep course is going to be cheaper than tutoring, but tutoring is more focused. Try the self-studying approach above first--you might save some serious money. Good luck!

Powerscore LSAT study guides: logical reasoning? We Answered:
I loved the Powerscore books, especially the Logic Games one (that was my weakness). They are extremely detailed and aimed at people who are looking to score high, so I think they would help you score better and be more consistent. I'd read the LR one before the RC one, just because I felt like a lot of the stuff in the LR one helped me get better at RC. You'll probably want to read them twice to get all the info--I did.Annette Said:

As far as LSAT dates, the June 09 or September 09 LSAT would be your best choice (taking it in December 09 puts you a little late in the admissions process). Because you are in school, the June 09 test might cause some study conflicts, so you have to look at that. The September 09 test is the most popular of the year in part because college students can study during the summer without having to worry about other schoolwork. The June and September tests are roughly the same in terms of difficulty, so there are no concerns there.
Whatever you decide, good luck!
