Angel Said:

What is a good university to study abroad at in Berlin, Germany?

We Answered:

First of all unless you are an EU citizen you need to apply for a student visa to study in Germany same in all other EU countries.
Be aware courses are mostly held in German with exception of a few private universities in public universities there are only few courses in English.

That said the FU Berlin or the Humboldt University are good ones

Where is a good country to study abroad ?

We Answered:

There is a specific website that focuses on studying in Europe. You can use its search engines for Bachelors, Masters and Scholarships over here, here and here:
http://www.bachelorsportal.eu/
http://www.mastersportal.eu/
http://www.scholarshipportal.eu/

You need to type in where you are from, what study program you wish to apply to and such. There are thousants of options for a master degree and even in a specific discipline, you'd be surprised to how many countries you are able to go.

Good luck!

England's best universities to study abroad?

We Answered:

Good Choice! England is one of the top places to study abroad in the world! It shouldn't be too hard to find a solid study abroad program. Check first with your home university to see if it offers or approves programs in England. If it does, then you'll probably pay the same tuition and be able to transfer your academic credit. You can also search other Universities (like Duke, Arcadia University, Butler University) to see what programs they offer. Program providers like Academic Studies Abroad (http://www.academicstudies.com/) and IES (https://www.iesabroad.org/IES/Programs/E… also have numerous programs in England.

In which city do you want to study? There are programs in London, Bath, and Oxford to name a few. You know what area you want to study, which will definitely narrow your choices. A couple universities that offer writing programs include: St. Peter's College at Oxford University and Queen Mary, University of London... if you're looking outside England, Arcadia University offers a Creative Writing Program in Edinburgh, Scotland (another popular study abroad destination). These universities offer semester and full academic year programs.

A great resource for your study abroad search: GulliverGo (http://www.gullivergo.com). I work for this website that is dedicated to helping students like yourself go abroad. You can search for programs in England - by city, area of study, or price. Once you figure out where you want to study you can check out the country guide for the United Kingdom (http://www.gullivergo.com/prepare-to-go)… This guide will give you information on visa requirements, housing, transportation, cell phones, and insurance. You name it, it's there. That's not all. The site also invites you to ask current study abroad students what it's like to live in England. The best advice will come from students overseas or those who have returned from their own trip. England is a popular destination- it won't be hard to find plenty of information to help you on your way.

Good Luck!

What universities have the best Study Abroad programs?

We Answered:

Most universities have study abroad programs. You will probably want to go through your own school because then you will get automatic grade credit, which can be important if you plan on going to graduate school. Middlebury in Vermont has one of the best reputations for foreign language instruction and access to study abroad programs. The University of Michigan Residential College has an intensive foreign language program. If you feel like you want to go to Switzerland, do you want to go to the French or German speaking part? You can research which universities have programs in which Swiss cities. Good luck.
