Cultural Revolution of 1969 has changed Chinese culture dramatically.
True Chinese cultures can not be found inside China.

We Answered:

My husband studied a two-year intensive Chinese language program in Beijing.

Our university here in the northwest has 111 international students. All of them are studying Chinese language with different goals. Some of them are going through two-year programs and will return to their home countries to complete their degrees there. Others are going for full four-year degree programs in Chinese language and history/literature.

There are a few who will do a two-year program in Chinese language and will then switch over to a different field for a four-year degree. Some are moving in the linguistics direction.

All of these programs are in Chinese only. The only English language programs at our university are the English major programs.

We have 176 international students scheduled for next autumn. We won't know until then if they all show up or not.

You really need to learn to read and write mandarin first before you would be able to really study and learn in both countries. First stop would be best in Beijing University to study the language first before pursuing the forensics.

xinjiang university in urumqi, too. info of international student is quite little on their webpage, and i dont think there is psychology major there.
