Carla Said:

I am Brazilian. If I was study English in Canada, what city should I choose? Where people is friendly?

We Answered:

HEY! Honestly...everyone here is most places are friendly...now it all really depends on how you can handle the weather and (if you have family someone particualr!) Southern British Columbia (Victoria, Vancouver) is by far the warmest climate this country has to offer in the winter months (November -March), Toronto is a larger more Metropolitan city....with a large Portugeuse speaking population which you might find to be a help....my personal reccomendation for CHEAP housing, the FRIENDLIEST people in the country and all around BEAUTIFUL scenery...the ULTIMATE Canadian experience would be a city called HALIFAX...It's in the province of Nova Scotia...ESL is available throughout the country the East Coast (Halifax) might be a lot cheaper than the West (Brisith Columbia) GOOD LUCK! You will love Canada no matter where you go!

You could try the college; depending on what your native tongue is, you may be able to team up with an English major who wants to learn your first language. Trade off language lessons.
