Central TAFE is, unfortunately, located in prime real estate, and all of the surrounding suburbs are expensive.

Subiaco would be almost 5km away anyway, and is Not Cheap.

You could consider living a bit further away and near the train line (e.g. Glendalough, Maylands). Central TAFE is right near the train station and a free CAT bus goes nearby too.

We Answered:

Yes, we especially see them a lot in perth because of the travellers hostels where they stay. You also see them driving camper vans up north, many rent these vans for a few months and travel around the state.
but I have found they are really polite and interested in meeting the locals, and it is fun to talk to people from a different culture for us as well. Overseas students often come and just study for 6 months, others come for the 3 years.

No the petrol will not freeze, it does not get that cold in Perth.
Parking is found everywhere, some shopping centres have motorcycle parking areas, but normally they just seem to park anywhere. Dont forget that you need to wear a helmet in Australia.
