Pedro Said:

I live now in Netherlands and I'm waiting a child.what is the possibility to give him any European nationality

We Answered:

In the Netherlands this is not possible and I know of no other European country that allows this. All European countries demand that at least one of the parents is a citizen.

If the mother has Dutch citizenship her child automatically receives Dutch citizenship as well. If the father is Dutch and the child is born within a legally recognized marriage in the Netherlands the child also gets Dutch citizenship. If the marriage is nog considered legal in the Netherlands the Dutch citizen father should recognize the child before the birth in order to get citizenship for the baby. If he does not do this, it will get very complicated to fix this after the birth.

You can apply for Dutch citizenship if:
1. You have a permanent permit to stay in the Netherlands (vvr-onbepaalde tijd) and:
2. Have been a legal resident in the Netherlands for at least 5 years (5x365 days) and:
3. Passed a language test

Studying in the Netherlands How to go about it?

We Answered:

very good school near here. The Haagse Hoogeschule in the Hague.

Holland is a tiny place, probably no bigger than LA, so wherever you live, you're never more than 1 hour from anywhere else. (unless you want to go by car to Utrecht - forget it)

Willie Said:

Good graphic design school in Netherlands (Holland)?

We Answered:

I would turn the question on it's head because you are looking for graphic design courses in English I presume, which will narrow down the selection considerably

A good site to get all the answers about studying as an international student in the Netherlands is http://www.nuffic.nl/

Checking the section on this site for courses in English using the keywords "graphic design" then there are 7 courses and at different levels so you need to check for yourself which is best suited to you http://ispacsearch.nuffic.nl/showprogram…

Entry requirements vary per college and also per course, but if you click on the 'full description' then they will give the entry requirements or a link to their own website with them

As foor staying - for long term course, if you graduate then you can reside legally in the Netherlands for a further 6 months after graduation to seek a job. The time spent living in the Netherlands does not contibute towards time spent in gaining citizenship though. You can read more on the immigration dept site here http://www.ind.nl/EN/index.asp

Grants, Scholarship and Financial Aid For Urban & Planning Study in The Netherlands!?

We Answered:

pff, thats a hard one, if you are European you might be able to get a columbus Grant. Your best bet is to contact the University. They should have a coordinator that looks after international students. This person should be able to tell you all you need to know.

Gabriel Said:

Which is the MOST prestigious University in the Netherlands for studying Chemistry (Bachelors) ?

We Answered:

I assume from seeing another of your questions that you are not fluent in Dutch. Therefore you will have to seek a course in English which will limit your choices and hence you should be worried about if you can find the right course and not necessary which university you want to attend

A good starting point is NUFFIC. A quick search on " chemistry" gives two options http://www.nuffic.nl/international-stude…

Good luck and p.s., as mentioned by others, you might want to hold off on the God Bless comments - not everyone shares the same (if any) religion on Y!A.
