Finally moved out, need help on room decor/design~!?We Answered:
You could try using straight lines and having most of your furniture black and white. Other colors like blue or green will make it feel very beachy while colors like pink or purple will look like easter.Alfred Said:
How do I prevent study room hogging? We Answered:
One option is to throw a party for the offending individuals, lacing their drinks with a toxic poison.drastic, yes--BUT effective.

how to design a cool, fun, inspiring, motivating class room ?We Answered:
From a student's point of view...Well, for me, it makes all the different in the world if the *teacher* is cool, fun, inspiring, and motivating. For some students, (like me), their education and success revolves around their teacher. For example, I have a teacher that I put every effort in to please, thus getting 99%. Another teac her is simply rude, bad-humored, etc, so I fail just enough to still make the honor roll(around 84%).
However, in terms of the actual environment, find some motivating posters. Some of my favorites are the ones that say things like, "How do you live your life...when no one's watching?" "In thirty years from now, it won't matter how your hair looked, or what shoes you wore. What will matter is what you learned, and how you used it". Usually things that refer to the future, or myself keep me motivated and on task. Not things about my health or school, but posters that refer to me personally keep me focussed.
As for seating arrangements, my favorite is in groups of two facing the front. This way, I have someone to talk to if we have an assignment in groups, but if one of us is on task, than the other one is as well.

designing a study room?We Answered:
With a bit of imagination, it is possible to create a study space where your child will look forward to spending time. First, maximize function and storage. Next, plan for an original and innovative workspace! Allow color to set the tone of the workspace.Color Ideas
• Warm color schemes are an appealing option for a child’s study space. Warm color schemes are filled with cozy hues such as oranges, reds and yellows, which help create a cheerful atmosphere (see Color Wheel).
• Painting walls a few tones deeper than the color of carpet, for instance, will make the study space appear more inviting (see Color Solutions).
• Warm colors are particularly practical for north-facing exposures that receive limited light, or spaces that contain few windows.
• Moderate warm color schemes with the addition of a neutral accent color, such as ivory, sand or sage.
Decorative Tips
• Personalize furnishings and decorative accessories with the desired color scheme. Painted desks, hutches and chairs can serve as bold focal points within the study space.
• Painted shelving and desk accessories, such as file cabinets, pencil holders, framed photographs and trash cans act as handsome enhancements that help to unify the space with the desired color scheme.
