What red tape is there for studying in Australia?

We Answered:

Your previous visa applications will have no impact on any future visa applications.

Your first step is to decide which college and of course whic program you want to study and then apply to said university - the admission requirements and procedures can be found on the university's website.

Once you are accepted, you will then need to apply for a student visa, the link below will guide you with that process.

Roger Said:

what should we be aware of while studying in Australia, going to Australia?

We Answered:

What age is your son? If you are talking about a school age child and neither of you are a Perm Resident the costs of tuition will be much more expensive than is listed in the books as you have to pay the non-government subsidized amount. For instance, we have a work colleague who's child goes to public school, year 1 and instead of the $280 an Australian or PR pays per year, she has to pay over 4K for the year. Thats because the government subsidizes the education cost of every school age child to a certain amount of $$ except for international children.

Public schools also usually charge a building levy, book levy, and multiple other levys. A school where the Australian cost is around 10K you should expect another 1K of levys to pay throughout the year.
