Who's wrong? me or the test?We Answered:
Your proportion is 3"/8" = 4'/x'best to work everything in inches:
3/8 = 48/x
3x = 8(48)
x = 128 in. = 128/12 feet = 10 2/3 feet
remember, the remainder goes over the divisor, 12, not 10.
that's it! ;)

I am having a ton of problems with this chemistry question??We Answered:
Right you need to use the ideal gas equation, which is:pv = nRt
p = pressure
v = volume
n = mass
R = gas constant (8.31)
T = temperature.
If you want to find the volume you need to re-arrange the equation, so it becomes
p (pressure) = nRt / v
(12)x(8.31)x(277) / 55
= 502 atm
Sorry I think I went wrong somewhere there, but thats the general equation you need to use

PLEASE HELP!!! How do you teach someone to pass the Exit Level Math TAKS?We Answered:
i feel your agony. i am a new teacher and i cant think of a solution for your answer. i am really curious to know how these kids pass the previous math classes without knowing anything about math? it's definitely the school's mistake. they need to know the basics of math to survive in their adult life. you should talk to the principal about this problem. the problem is bigger than passing a test. how they are going to manage their finances without the necessary knowledge of handling their money. the school has to take an action and do something at least for its younger students.Randall Said:
Help me to come out of this MASTURBATION EFFECTS!!! ?We Answered:
Masturbation is not really harmful - unless you overdo it or if you are addicted to it.You cannot concentrate on your studies and random thoughts bombard you because you might be doing it late night ot early morning, which makes you quite fatigued and stressed out.
The guilts you feel also make you stressed. I suggest you go see a Christian counselor if this really disturbs you a lot - especially since you've managed not to do it anymore.
You should only take psychiatric or psychologic treatment only if this is interfering with your life greatly. Altenatively, you can seek help from your University Counselor. Food habits are not really factors in your dilemma now.
Masturbation will not result to low sperm count (as a whole, except after hours after you do it), will not lead to premature ejaculation (does not correlate at all), and will not lead to being impotent.
I see your problem as being more of the fatigue that masturbation has been causing you (perhaps because you are staying late at night or doing it before going to class) - if this is so, then refrain from doing it, especially during those times. If you haven't masturbated for a long time and have still been feeling fatigue, it may have been due to your guilt feelings, which lead you to be worried enough, thus affecting your thinking - and guilt can be physically draining too.
So, the course of the "treatment" would be to go to your University Counselor. He will tell you what to do next, but you really need to go see your Univ Counselor as he can really help you to get out of this dark pit and to go on with your life as a normal and happy individual. If you are a Christian, you can also seek help from your junior pastor.
Good Luck and God Bless!
