STUDY TECHNIQUES and SCHEDULING?

We Answered:

Well, it is too late to help much this semester, but you really need to get a calandar and write in what you need to study each day and FOLLOW it. I write in pencil on my calendar and look at it at the end of each class to add my next items to study and see if I need to modify anything. I have a hard time finding a calendar I can put in my binder, so I use Excel and create one the day before the first day of a semester, one month per page.
I advise making flash cards. I read a paragraph until I come by something I don't think I can easily remember and make a card. I try to think like the teacher and ask myself a question. If you go over all of your cards plus the new ones you make each day, you will really see and improvement in your grades and time management issues.
Good luck and best wishes.

What are some great studying techniques?

We Answered:

Something that helps me study is Quizlet, (quizlet.com) you can make "flashcards". Basically you put a question and answer and the site has many different ways of letting you study. It is great for history, foreign language, or language. I also used it for my Physics class putting down theories and stuff. It is basically a virtual flash card site but it is way more useful than just ordinary vocabulary.

Francis Said:

where would i find information on the field work studies and techniques of anthropologists?

We Answered:

Go to the nearest university with an anthropology department. Introduce yourself and ask. Most anthropologists are nice people. And most of them love to talk about their work and how they do it.
