As a person with his own business I have always thought that Business Studies was a bit of a cop-out - but that's just my opinion. My niece did this to degree level and is a successful business woman now, so it must be worth something to some people.

However, the main business skill you appear to need is some English lessons. Look at your question above. There are at least 5 mistakes. Study hard, work hard and you'll get where you want to be, but you MUST know how to write.

Not sure where you get your evidence for this - there are certainly plenty of companies promoting their ethical credentials to get business. The one that springs to mind was the Body Shop - but Anita Roddick's rather preachy tones could easily have lost them as many customers. As well as cosmetics food groups like the Co-op and lately Tesco's have been shouting the odds about organic farming - local patronage and other 'ethical' issues, other ones to look at are Travel companies planting rainforests on their customers behalf. Cynics like myself think it is all a bit of a ruse, but difficult to complain about - rather like complaining about nurses who by definition do a wonderful job.

I dont know exactly which looks better but i am currently doing A Level Applied Business double award, which i find good because you can have more control over the grade you get due to it being more coursework based.

Hope this helps, but i dont think it matters to much to universities which one you take, as long as you get a good grade
