Asvab Study Guides

ASVAB Study Guides-Which is best?

We Answered:

I just studied and took the ASVAB, and I can tell you, it's EASY!!!

I did, however, buy some books to prepare just in case.

I found ASVAB for dummies is decent, but beware there are many mistakes inside the book that may well confuse you.

McGraw Hill, I can't say as I didn't buy that.

I also got ASVAB from Kaplan...the makers of the test, which is VERY thorough...almost too thorough.

The books to prepare you are at LEAST 5x's harder than the actual test. If you know your basic vocab, math, and arithematic reasoning (probably the only one you should really study for) you'll do just fine.

If you live anywhere in florida, hit me up as I'm selling mine now, so if you want them cheap I've got to sell them quick.

Good luck and don't sweat it too much, if you can do the basics of any of the books, you'll be well ahead in the actual test!

good asvab study guides?

We Answered:

I'm currently studying from ASVAB POWER. Its really helped me with some of my scores and gives you a good rundown on everything. It also gives you a link to a site online where you can take a full length test thats timed so you get used to the pressure. Oh and it has a schedule breakdown for preparing to leave for MEPS. You should def look into it.

Any ASVAB Study guides?

We Answered:

I was in the same situation as you are. I had been out of high school for eleven years when I took the ASVAB. I also needed a refresher in math. I used ASVAB for Dummies. This study guide will help to bring back into focus what you know, and will highlight the areas that you need to work on. Best of luck!
