Is the GED easier in certain states or something?

We Answered:

Not sure how it differs from state to state; but I have taken and passed the G.E.D. test. Took me two times though, and yes the math is like middle school level on the actual test.
I am proud of my writing ability's and have ALWAYS wanted to be a writer, has always been my best subject. Want to hear something funny? The first test I took, threw me for a loop... on the writing essay, the Q: was something about the difference in living ability's in urban areas vs. rural areas. I was scored on my essay and if I had gotten 1 more point on it, I would have passed the whole test! But failed and always said that if I had nads like a dude, that would have been being kicked in them.
Second time around, and it seemed easier, (2 1/2yrs later) I am " a proud ged holder of my fine state, uh huhhh i am". lol.

Eileen Said:

how can i study for my ged free online?

We Answered:

If your thinking of going to a community college instead of a university then i think you should just call up the colleges and find out if you can get into any of there programs without a diploma. Once you have a GED its harder for you to get admitted into the course cause alot of the time they have pre requistes that are needed and if you dont have it then your usually waitlisted. So my best advice to you would be to simply call the colleges, like i said before and ask them if they offer a program where you can get into college without a diploma. Most of the time they do and you wuold have to apply as a mature student i think.

GOOD LUCK <3

where can i find a 100% free online ACT study guide?

We Answered:

The ACT website has online practice test with explanations about the right and wrong answers. But I wouldn't trust anything that's just on the internet, it might give you a false idea about the level of difficulty of the test and what you need to know for it as well.

Jackie Said:

Are there any free online study guides for the GED test?

We Answered:

The online GED prep courses or study guides will help but not as much as talking to your local Community College. They offer prep classes and sometimes they have classes that are in your local area.

Also check with the surrounding alternative high schools to see what their age limits are, our alternative high school doesn't have an age limit, they can't count you for money from the state but you can still work on your GED with them. We currently have 6 students enrolled over the age of 21 and 2 of those are over the age of 30.

Congratulations on going forward.
