I'm a current student at CTU online. I wondered the same thing, if when I graduate any employer would take my degree seriously. But I think I am getting a really good education, if not a better one at CTU. The classes are not easy! One thing you want to look for is make sure the school you go to is accredited. If they are then their degree is as good as any other degree. CTU online is one of the few I've found that are accredited. Good luck.

As it states on the cover, the main goal of this course is to teach conversational everyday Russian. It is in no way a comprehensive Russian grammar book or university course in Russian, but it is a well put together book that will teach you how to read Cyrillic alphabet, converse on a number of basic conversational topics and cover some introductory grammar patterns. It works on developing all 4 aspects of the language and, as opposed to other courses, vocabulary used in the dialogues is of high frequency with plenty of exercises to practice. If you do not study with the Teacher, make sure to buy not only the book, but tapes or CDs as well. It is an excellent introductory course.

PROFESSIONAL IDENTIFICATION
A copy of photo identification and two pieces of professional criteria must be included with the application and membership fee.
Examples of professional identification:
Composite Card, Business Card with name and specific profession, Editorial Page with name credit, Union Card, Head Shot & resumé, Professional Licence,
Diploma/Certificate, Publication Masthead, Program/Press Materials w/name, Contract on production company leterhead, Crew/Call list on prod. co. leterhead,
Professional leter of reference of employment. Required identification must be current, indicate your name and specific profession.
All identification will be destroyed after processing and will not be returned to you.

They have the application available for download on their site if you want to take a peek. They also have information about classes that they offer, plus the ability to email a makeup artist (which may give you more info about other classes outside of M.A.C.)

The PRO membership definitely has it's benefits!
