Home Bible Study Course

There are some resources offering a home Bible study course at no cost, without any obligation and in the convenience of the learner's home at the chosen pace of the learner. All that is needed is the student's name and email address to enroll as a student for the home Bible study course. Any other personal details and information is optional, and the student can decide whether to provide it or not. This course is offered exclusively online.

Every lesson in this course has some questions, which can be answered by clicking on the appropriate response from a set of multiple choices. Once the student has chosen an answer, he or she is informed whether the answer is correct or wrong, and additional information about the scripture from which the answer is derived is also indicated. Comments and questions with regard to the particular topic of study are welcome, and students can submit their feedback while they are taking the course.

Such courses can also be availed to interested students through snail mail, and a telephone number where interested students can call is provided. This telephone number is meant to be used by the students for giving out their mailing address. In this course studied through mail, there are a total of eight lessons, and the moment the mailing address has been received, the first lesson is promptly sent to the student. All the eight lessons are offered free of charge.

In other instances, students of home Bible study courses have to register to enable the institution to keep records of the participants. These records help the course managers to determine the effectiveness of the course. For people intending to take the course in groups or congregations, studies can be linked to the congregation's website. If the congregation does not have a website, they can be assisted to create one if they are willing. Contact information has been provided whereby the congregation can make contact and get assistance with creating a website. Such a website usually contains basic content, which is mostly information about the congregation. The rest of the content on the website is largely the Bible study course.

All the congregation needs to do is to register once the website is set up, and to submit the duly filled form, after which an email with details of how to download the lessons will be sent to the congregation.
