There's a rule about studying for courses in general and it is that you should spend two to three hours for ever credit hour of the course (i.e. if it's a four credit hour course you should spend between 8 and 12 hours a week on it outside of class). 30 hours a week, unless you really feel like you need it is overkill, though I would strongly suggest spending more time studying for on-line courses than for in-class courses. The reason for this is that there are grading factors (fair or not) that occur when sitting in a class room face to face with the professor that do not exist when you are for all intensive purposes anonymous as you are on-line. You generally won't get the same impact of knowledge on your own as you would from the class room experience UNLESS you put the extra effort in (which at 30 hours per course it sounds like you might) to accomplish it.

The only thing I have to suggest for you to help prepare you for a taking Emergency Medical Science classes is to learn AS MUCH human anatomy and physiology as you possibly can. The more A&P you know the better you should do. Good Luck!
