Study Abroad In Ireland
Anthony Said:
Questions about summer study abroad in Ireland? We Answered:
Yes, Ireland is a very popular destination for study-abroad students, and this continues through the summer. Many Spanish students come to the bigger cities to improve their English during the summer. Irish people are friendly towards everyone, Americans included. To study I would recommend Dublin because it is a more modern city with many universities there, as well as many cultural points of interest, and good shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and great public transport. If you are looking for something a bit more traditional you should check out Galway City which is home to the National University of Ireland-Galway, and is a popular place to study. It is not as busy or built up as Dublin but has many of the same amenities.I hope this helped and good luck! Ireland is a great country!

Is Queens University in Belfast, Ireland a good place to Study Abroad?!?We Answered:
I spend a year and half in Northern Ireland as an exchange student (not at Queens, but at Ulster) and found it a great place. The Irish are relaxed, easy going and Belfast has enough to do -- just make sure you are not around at either Christmas or Easter.Don't go if you like big city life -- but if you like a cup of coffee in the morning at the local coffee shop , plenty of beer in the evenings and some great rough coasts its the place to go.
Semester are 12 weeks (3 months), see the link below.

Is Cork, Ireland a good place to study abroad? We Answered:
I went to UCC for a Masters and loved it. My department (arts) was really good, and I loved the city and its people. While Dublin is a great city with a very cosmopolitan feel to it, Cork is less so, but equally fun. Cork is less expensive, and if you're into great countryside, then west Cork and Co. Kerry are on your doorstep. There is a good pub scene in Cork - don't know so much about the club scene. Generally, you will experience a more genuine sense of Irish culture in Cork than in Dublin.
There is a variety of accommodation available, but surely this all hinges on your chosen academic department?
Have a look at their website, and then compare it to that of TCD or UCD in Dublin. If you can attend an open day at UCC, that would also be very useful.
Finally, you're going to have to live there, so check the UCC Students' Union page for the range of accommodation, and then compare to Dublin.
If you opt for Cork, Dublin is only a 3 hour train ride away.
Whatever you decide, make sure you do your research first.
PS. I'm a Dubliner by birth, and also studied there!

How can I finance my study abroad to Ireland? We Answered:
Making a blog!...or a website. And adding ChipIn to it.
It's basically just a widget where you list what you're raising money for, how much you need, etc, and people donate. You need a Paypal account for it, though. But you can add ChipIn to any site. :)

Is Ireland a good place to study abroad? We Answered:
if u are a buisness major i recommend you go to SWITZERLAND!!! it is the heart of European commerce! It's a little bit of France, a little bit of Germany and languages from all across Europe are spoken thereIf you like Ireland GO! GO! GO! we rarely have opportunities to study abroad (I to am a sophomore and going to Paris!)
You might also want to consider South America, particularly Peru or Argentina even Venezuela, their commerce is booming or maybe China Japan and India!!! sooo many choices but my top pic would be switzerland for it's diversity alone! and also for it's proximity to the entire world!
Ray Said:
Should I study abroad in Ireland or England? We Answered:
I say Ireland just because its more of a unique place to go. Lots of people study in England.
