Tiffany Said:

How do I convince my parents to let me study abroad to New Zealand or Great Britian?

We Answered:

I am planning to go to New Zealand for a year for my grade 12 year, and my parents are all for it, they used to live in New Zealand and say it is a beautiful country, the people are amazingly friendly, and it is very safe. Just tell your mom how much you want to go and, read up about New Zealand and tell her lots about it, eventually she will probably see how much this means to you and let you go. Another point is depending on how old you are she can't really stop you from going, maybe look at an educational exchange or something, if it's for school maybe she will decide it's a good idea. They might be avoiding the question because they feel they are losing a little bit of you. But go for it! It would be a life changing experience!

Where do I study abroad in New Zealand?

We Answered:

Otago and Canterbury universities are the best ones in the south island. They are in Dunedin and Christchurch respectively, in the South Island, on the East coast. If you google them, they're easy enough to find.

Study abroad trip to New Zealand what to pack?

We Answered:

The season there at the time you are going is end of summer and entering into winter. Take a large suitcase so you only have to take one but make sure you pack just under your limit as when you go back to Chicago there is enough weight for you.

I would pack a mix of things as in the summer there can be lovely warm days but leading into winter it can go overcast and not so warm.
If you don't have the right amount of clothes as the weather can change you can always go out and buy a few cheap clothes as in Hamilton they have markets and nice shops :)
