I would recommend intelligence specialist if you're smart, you could end up going into the CIA,NGA, or FBI, but if you just want to be a police officer then your best bet would be Master at Arms they are the police of the military and it is the most pertinent rating to what you want to be. Its not fair for him to categorize the MAs like that, he probably just doesn't like them and got a ticket once ^^

EL — Electronics (EL) - Determined from General Science (GS), Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), Mathematics Knowledge (MK) and Electronic Information (EI).

ST —Skilled Technical (ST) - Determined from General Science (GS), Verbal Expression (VE), Mechanical Comprehension (MC) and Mathematics Knowledge (MK).

Just get a study guide from the library or a book store and study questions in those areas. It's probably stuff you already know.
