Study German In Germany
Terrance Said:
Does the government pay u to study German in Germany? We Answered:
Under certain conditions, you can receive something called "BaFoeg". If you want to study full time (meaning no time for a job) and your parents can't support you, the German government will give grant you money that you won't have to pay back.Ha, I need to learn how to read. I didn't see the foreigner's part. Sorry! This Bafoeg program is only for German citizens.

How can I attend a University in Germany to study in German Studies as both an American and a GED holder.?We Answered:
You're welcome to go to uni in Germany, but unis in Europe won't accept your GED. It's not that they don't consider it equivalent to a US HS diploma - they do. The problem is that a US HS diploma isn't enough to get into a European uni. Instead, you need that HS diploma (or GED) plus at least 3 AP exams, or a US HS diploma plus one year at a US college.Go ahead and check the German unis that interest you the most, and find out what they need from American applicants. Then go about getting those qualifications while you're here in the US.
