Melanie Said:

What is the best study guide for ASVAB ?

We Answered:

50 is actually a pretty good score, regardless of what many out here say. Only 30% of those that take the ASVAB nscore 50 or higher.
Your best method of study, is to begin reading, practically anything and using a dictionary to look up the words you don't understand.
As for jobs, your Recruiter is the best source of information for them, as he has his office computer linked to those at MEPS and he can find out which jobs are open to those that are red/green deficient.

Bradley Said:

Air force jobs and ASVAB study guide?

We Answered:

You're paid the same for the most part. If you get deployed or have a hazardous duty job or a flight job you can get paid more.

What jobs depend on what you are looking for. Do you want to be exerting physical strength? Look into SERE, pararescue (males only), firemen, and security forces. Are you interested in flying? Look at loadmasters, aeromedical evacuation techs, etc. You cannot be a nurse so don't even worry there but are you at all interested in medical jobs? Or what about intelligence? Operations Intel is a nice one.

Talk to a recruiter and take an ASVAB. You can find guides at bookstores--hit up Borders or Barnes and Nobles.
