In general Schengen visa type D are national visa and valid for the country of issue only. However there may be some exceptions, especially in the Benelux area (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).
You need to check on the "valid for" section of your visa (first line).
If it says "NL" for the Netherlands, it will be valid in the Netherlands only, if it however should say "BNL" for Benelux you may move to the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg.
