Find the closest embassy and call them, then bring what you need to and go down in person. I did that when I needed to get a visa to visit Brazil and it really sped things up. :)

If a foreign student wishes to study in Korea, he/she must obtain Standard admission letter from president of the university and enter Korea with D-2 visa. It is not possible for a foreigner to enter Korea just for an interview before entering university.
