Study In New York

Peggy Said:

What are the majors, study, field, careers, jobs: known in New York?

We Answered:

Why would things be harder to study in New York than in other places? I've gone to school in several states, New York being one of them. Hard stuff is hard everywhere.

Felicia Said:

How much does it cost to study in new york?

We Answered:

Baruch College in Manhattan, a CUNY school, is excellent for business. About $300 or more for one credit for an out of state student. If you have the money NYU, $48.000 a year for room and board plus classes in the heart of Manhattan, Greenwich Village. Or Columbia University, $46,000. Columbia is a bit better than NYU.

Kathy Said:

Is it safe to study in New York?

We Answered:

My friend, New York City is a lot safer now than it used to be some 20 years ago. The crime rate here is at its lowest level since the New York City Police Department began to keep track of the crime stats in the early 1960s. You'll be fine.

Good luck

Terrance Said:

I'm doing a study about New York and would like to interview as many people as possible.?

We Answered:

You have two ways to do it.

Offline: Wait in the subway (bus stop, school, mall, etc) and interview people as they wait for the ride. If the survey will take longer than the wait, see if you can email the survey to them to fill out.

Online: Use a forum/message board that New Yorkers visit and post a link to the questions to the survey. Below is such an example.

If you don't have a site that collects the data privately, then people will not want to fill out the survey as the info will be public for others to see.

Good luck.

Adrian Said:

How much does it cost to study to study in a community college in New York as a foreigener citizen?

We Answered:

Each college is different. You will have to find the college you like and look at their fees. Most colleges do not have the same fees as others. Also, you do not have to go to community college if you find a university that will accept you with lower grades, although it will probably be a lot easier if you do. But it is not hard to find a University in New york. Yes, you can go to community college, and University at any age as long as you are paying. Not exactly sure about the student visa, but it seems like you would need one. Good luck.
