I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but practice makes perfect. You say you lack concentration. Do you mean you get distracted easily? Go to a place where there are no distractions. Avoid the computer unless you need it for homework. No tv, no music. It is ok to be a slow worker. Again, if you keep working hard, speed will come. You just need more practice (I believe at least, I don't know your entire situation). As to directions, perhaps if you wrote them down and keep them with you at all times? Maybe that would help you follow them better. Overall, it seems to me that your situation will take a lot of effort on your part. You will have to try. And if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. You probably won't be able to do it the way you want the first, second, or fiftieth time. Just don't give up.

However, I would not make multitasking a goal. It is actually impossible. Think about it, can you really do two things at once? No, your mind still only concentrates on just one. Doing that just makes everything more confusing. Do one thing at a time, it really is ok.

As to the best answer question, isn't there a button somewhere or something? I'm sorry, I don't remember.

Why don't you check out some books from the library? Read the chapters and work the problems at the end of the chapters. Do some searches online for free online courses. Go to a McGraw-Hill site and see what they offer. I'm pretty sure the BBC Web site offers free material.

I failed my placement test for algebra the summer before I started college. I was made to take Math 0900 (Not even a college level course), my freshman year. Now I'm a finance major and I can do calculus or stat easily
