Well thats a right chicken and an egg question. Your monthly spending needs would depend on (a) where your from now, as this would give you an insight into your standard of living, and (b) where you are studying. Many people argue that Sourthern England is more expensive than the North, but that is really only reflected in house prices, so if you have your accomadation sorted, your not a cocaine party animal, and you don't have a hunger that would rival Rick Waller (ask around when you get here) then i would suggest about £600-700 should be ample.

And with the amount of low life chavs and ASBO's louts we have over here"draining our economy" I wouldn't pay attention to Chopper, and only bring £100 a week if you don't smoke, go for a drink or drive anywhere.

It hugely depends on where your from and where you want to practice your profession.

If you're from the UK, it's best to study there. If you're from the USA, it's best to study there.

And to the previous answer, wow. I've studied in "the rest of the developed world" and the United State's education system isn't half as bad as you think it is.

After living overseas, living in America, staying extensively with my family in England, I can say studying in the USA would be my answer.
