I'm just 11 years old living in Toronto,Canada and I want to know some good summer and serious jobs for later?

We Answered:

McDonald's, Tim Horton's... they're all going to want at least 14 usually 15-16 years of age so it is a bit early. Landscaping pays well, but it's long hours, early start and hard, manual labour.

The jobs themselves often will be boring, but if you work in a friendly place it can make all the difference. I was a cashier all through high school and the boss treated us with respect and everyone including the customers were friendly. In the summer I'd pick up an additional part time job and every year I'd quit that job come fall and keep the grocery shop job because even though other jobs paid a little bit more the other employees and atmosphere just wasn't that great.

Waitressing I hear can earn you descent money (thanks to tips) but you'll need to be 18 so that you can serve alcohol (18 to serve, 19 to drink. Not sure why it's like that, but there you go).

You're not going to be able to do anything like Architect as a summer job - being an architect requires many years of university. If you have an interest in architecture there may be some odd jobs you could do with an architect (but it will be things like making coffee, or receptionist).

If you want a good job, stay in school, study like mad throughout university and you can do whatever you want. Until then, you'll need to re-adjust your expectations of what possible things you could be qualified to do when you're 15.

Good summer jobs for a professional? Teacher needs ideas?

We Answered:

You'd be perfect for seasonal help at a daycare or summer camp. All those kids that were in school have to go somewhere in the summer if their parents work. A mature professional teacher would be great for seasonal camp or care supervision!

Is it hard for college students to find summer tutoring jobs in Korea?

We Answered:

It would be hard for you, unless you know how to speak in Korean...
Do you know why most of Americans in Korea are working as a English Teacher in Grade schools instead of working as a Tutor???
Teachers do not earn as much as a Tutor. Because it is Public Service.

You should try to teach summer school. If you have a Masters, look at the couple community colleges to be adjunct professor for the summer.

Summer jobs for a 29 year old male Business teacher?

We Answered:

Golf caddie. Find a members enclosure with private guests, they normally need help. If you no someone who works there may be easier to find a job but is a great way to earn money
