Definition Of Teaching
Victor Said:
What is the definition of Learner-centered teaching? We Answered:
Known as student centred learning, the needs of the 'whole' student - strengths, weaknesses, interests, individual differences - are catered for. In addition there is some negotiation between students and teacher as to content and assessment. For example, the teacher may set the topic 'plants'. Some students may choose to visit a plant nursery, some may decide to look at wild flowers and others may want to try growing their own. Assessments may be in the form of projects, speeches, display charts or tests. The opposite of student centred learning is teacher centred, in which the teacher decides the content and assessment, and every student is given exactly the same learning journey.Christopher Said:
pls i want a good definition of Audio visual aids for english teaching? We Answered:
Hi, Darkeyes ~The problem is that there's almost no other way to find any information at all except by our ears (audio) and eyes (visual.)
So what does "audio-visual" leave out? Books? The teacher? Maps? The blackboard?
Generally, however, the term is meant to refer to technology (meaning, say -- "run by electricity") that uses images with voice (or other sounds) for instruction.
- Sometimes the operation of the equipment can be manual -- such as looking at slides through a hand-held viewer
- Sometimes the "voice" is a running commentary by the instructor, rather than by a recording
- Sometimes a visual component may be absent (for example, a tape recording)
- Sometimes an audio component may be absent (for example, a silent film loop)
It probably would be better to avoid "defining" the term, and instead just go with listing the devices you will consider as "AV."
Here is Wiki's list of (usually) electrically-powered equipment used in AV instruction:

why is the "trinity" in definition, a catholic teaching? It brought the light of the meaning of what trinityWe Answered:
God bless you for your faith in God's true Church.Trinity is a Catholic teaching because it has been Her belief about the nature of God since the beginning, when Christ founded Her 2,000 years ago. She has always held the belief of one God in three divine Persons.
Protestants are Christians too; don't mistakenly think they aren't. Most of them believe in the Trinity, even if they won't recognize the teaching came from the Church.
Today there are about 1.6 billion Catholics worldwide, not 6 billion. The latter would be the current population count of the human race.
Thank you for your question, and God bless.
