I'm sure it will count in your favor, but you need to have the qualifications and experience as well. The fact that you know what military life is like should go down well with the parents of the kids you'll be teaching.

The plain fact is that men are discriminated against these days in all sorts of ways, and when the second most powerful politician in the UK endorses discrimination against White men in the labour market I think we have totally lost any sense of what the word equality actually means http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/pol… The reason feminists are getting away with this is that men are socialised to not complain. Not complaining is going to get us exactly nowhere.
