How long would it take to earn a teaching certificate?

We Answered:

I think that you have to do B.Ed This course is conducted by some universities.for this you have to give an entrance exam, after that passing the entrance exam the counseling would be done as per per your choices of institute and your ranking. and then the training would be started after the selection of institute.
NOTE : i m not sure for duration of course and the eligibility criteria for entrance exam.

Before going to college you should ensure the standard of the college. You can search in the web also, for list of colleges available for B.Ed.
and also see Google for more information..all d best bro..!%^$^%

How do I get my teaching certificate/credential?

We Answered:

Go to the school of education at your university and ask what the requirements are in your preferred state (where you are wanting to teach). You will be told to take xy and z classes and will be required to do some supervised practice teaching. This should require about one term. Then you will receive a teaching certificate along with your degree.

How do I get a teaching certificate in Iowa?

We Answered:

You need to get in touch with an academic adviser at a school you're interested in attending. That person can help you lay out a plan for going back and taking education and any other content area classes you'll need to take. (Of course also add a semester for student teaching.) During this whole process, you'll need to be making a licensure portfolio, which your school should supervise as you move along through the process.

How does one go about getting a teaching certificate in Massachusetts or Connecticut?

We Answered:

I would suggest you contact the local public school office in the district you would like to teach at and ask them for their requirements to get a teaching certificate as each state has different requirements. You can google "____ (name of the county) county public schools" and you should be able to get the phone and website information. Usually schools post their certificate requirements online, but people are more helpful and a phone call could be better.
You don't need a certificate to sub. In most states you only need an Associate's degree and they'll do a thorough background check. This is just to sub, however.
