What science/math related jobs don't require public speaking/communication/teaching?We Answered:
I would think an accountant, CPA.I think what you need to look for is a school that you can take online, or at least partially. Do those courses online so that you don't have to give any presentations and you can fulfill the requirements.
After that any laboratory technician job or maybe forensic accounting

What are some good techniques when it comes to interviewing for secondary or college math teaching positions.?We Answered:
Basically the questions relate to what you have learned and that should not be a problem to you. Second, they look at your human relations capabilities, this may sound ridiculous to think they can understand a person at first sight, therefore your first appearance/impressions physically or otherwise should be of at most importance. All in all, you can make a better teacher than some teachers, all you have to do is respond to the questions as they are asked and because you know the answers as a trained teacher don't act as if you are unsure. Lastly, presentable attire and a smile will always help.Sylvia Said:

Do you know of any math teaching jobs around the Dallas Fort Worth area or surrounding area?We Answered:
No, I don't live near Dallas BUT, as the other person said, Math teachers are definitely in demand over other subject areas. My advice is this: Apply to all of the schools you really want to teach at. Don't wait for advertisements or job postings-- many of the best schools don't advertise job openings at all because they've already got several applicants before the position is even available.
Just go to the phone book and call the Human Resource offices at the schools you want to teach at. Ask them if there are any Math openings now or anticipated in the near future.
Since many jobs aren't posted in the paper or on job bank web sites, you'll have less competition when you apply for these jobs.
Best of luck to you.

Are all teaching jobs hard to get or are math and science jobs easy?We Answered:
I just graduated from a B.Sc/B.Ed - Secondary (math/biology majors). I'll be honest with you - it is hard finding jobs in math in science. Maths and science teachers are in high demand, but employers want experienced teachers. Once you have that initial year or so of experience I think you'll be set.Oh and I wouldn't recommend going into secondary education. Primary is MUCH better (if you like little kids of course!) The older ones talk back, they have no respect, it is dangerous (yes, I have been threatened on my teaching pracs) and they just don't appreciate the hard work you put in. Do a google search - secondary teaching is one of the most stressful jobs out there. Just my personal opinion. Unfortunately the layout of the course at my university meant I didn't actually get to experience being in a classroom til 3rd year, and by then I just wanted to finish my degree.
I think I'm going to eventually switch to primary, I just want to travel a bit first.

What on Earth are they teaching these days in Math class? We Answered:
both.school kids will always be lazy, but lately the whole education system has been collapsing.
do you know there are kids in grade 10 who don't know multiplication charts? one of my friends is a precalculus teacher in a high school in canada, and according to her, precalculus is one of the subjects with the lowest test marks because for 4 out of 5 tests they don't allow calculators.
teachers are doing their job for the money, not for the joy of teaching. and that is where the cookie crumbles.
